Well...I may be exaggerating this somewhat, but all the same...

So...my Repo! DVD came through my letterbox yesterday morning, despite the fact that the official release date will not be until tomorrow. Wowness. There was me thinking Play.com had dispatched it early because it was gonna take its sweet time about coming. But two days early? They've surpassed themselves. I'm very pleased.

And was it as good as it's been hyped up to be? Definitely.

I don't usually do gore fests, but this is one of the few exceptions. It's a genuinely brilliant piece of cinema, and you can't help but want to smack those gits at Lionsgate for not wanting to promote it properly. It's such a clever, original premise, with really great songs that stick in the head and characters you genuinely feel for. Turn off your mobile, stick on something with a wide screen (a laptop is advisable) and watch with the lights off for full effect. Beautiful.
